Another masterpiece by Giambattista Valli during his time at Ungaro. This incredible ensemble from the Ungaro Fall/Winter 2003 runway feels like an invitation to dream in broad daylight.

Rather than relying on traditional floral colours or imagery, Valli chose an enchanting combination of blue and purple — shades that feel inherently whimsical, surreal and almost otherworldly. Transparent frills appear here and there, floating around the body with an ethereal lightness, as though fragments of a dream have somehow taken physical form.
